By entering the Bulldog Domain Year-End Photo Contest you are agreeing to the following guidelines and rules:
- Entries will be accepted beginning Thursday November 18.
- Entries will not be accepted after Saturday, January 8, 2005.
- Voting for the People's Choice winners begins on Tuesday January 11 and will continue through Saturday January 15.
- Winners announced Saturday, January 22, 2005.
- All photos must be either emailed to ye2004@bulldogdomain or submitted via our online entry form.
- You may enter as many photos as you would like. See below for information about optional entry fees.
- If submitting via email, you must submit each photo separately and include
the following information in the body of your email (if anything is missing,
your email will be deleted and you will need to resubmit with all listed
information).
- Your full name
- Your shipping address (in order to receive prizes)
- The names of the Bulldog(s) in the photo.
- The category you are entering the photo in (Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall).
- Your preferred contact email address.
- Please list "Bulldog Domain Year-End Photo Contest" on the subject line of your email.
- Clearly indicate how much you are donating. If donating nothing indicate that as well.
- Submitted photos must meet the following criteria:
- There must be a least one Bulldog in the photo.
- It must be your own photo (you own the rights to it).
- Acceptable photo formats are limited to jpg, gif, bmp, or tif (jpg is recommended).
- Submitted photos should be no larger than 1MB in size (if you resize your photo for the contest, please save your original in a safe location).
- Using software to enhance your photo is acceptable, however it is not necessary.
- You may submit only one photo per category if not accompanied by an entry fee (i.e. one each for Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall). You may submit any combination and number of photos if you supply a entry donation (i.e. 2 for Winter, 1 for Summer, etc.).
- All photos become the property of Bulldog Domain and may be used on the Bulldog Domain website in any way and may be included in the Year-End Photo Contest CD Photo Album. Note: Photos may be resized in order to appear on the site.
- Entry Fees are NOT required, however they are strongly encouraged as they will support Bulldog Rescue. Click the PayPal button below this section to donate your entry fee. Alternately, you may REQUEST A PHYSICAL ADDRESS TO SEND A CHECK.
- Any entry that is accompanied by a minimum donation of $5 will receive a copy of the Year-End Photo Contest Album on CD (only one CD per entrant regardless of how many entries or amount donated).
- Donations of $5 or more (per photo) make your photo eligible for Tier 1 prizes should your photo win.
- If you enter 2 photos with a minimum donation of $8 both are eligible for Tier 1 prizes. 4 photos with a $15 donation are also Tier 1 eligible, and so on.
- Donations of $0 to $4.99 make your photo eligible for Tier 2 prizes should your photo win.
- Entree Fees must be received by January 8, 2005 at the absolute latest.
- All proceeds (after shipping costs and other expenses such as PayPal fees, are accounted for) will be added to our Gbay Rescue Fund and donated to Bulldog Rescue groups. Full disclosure of how the funds were allocated will be posted within 4 weeks of the contest end date.
