I just wanted to fill you guys in on Maggie's progress. She had a vet visit today with the bulldog vet Dr. Jim. He thinks she is around 3! My parents were thrilled because they were told by the humane society that she was probably around 6. He knows bulldogs and has a bulldog of course, and frenchies so we really trust his expertise. She is on cephalexin (spell?) for a while because her eyes are infected. She had that eutropian (spell?) surgery a couple months ago. She's in great shape. It's were promising! My parents are so happy with her and she fits into our family so well. My sister and her 8 year old daughter love her and Maggie is great with kids. Leave it to a bulldog to have been abused and still be so trusting of people.
My Mom went shopping on Foster and Smiths website with my Dad's credit card (it's his bullie after all;)) and got her a huge shipment of new stuff today. She's spoiled to say the least. She's the first dog my parents have had that they actually let sleep in their room with them. They really love her and she really deserves it.
Bud and I went over there tonight and they swam and played. They just love each other. We tried to get pics of them together but getting them to sit still is impossible.
I love bulldog rescue so much. These dogs are the apples of my eye
