Bullie Baby

« on: November 04, 2006, 04:14:15 AM »

An update on our rollercoaster adventure.  Puppy came for an overnight.  What a wonderful houseguest.  He is such a charmer.  Hope the pics reflect  his personality.  THANKS to Medic Barbie/Melanie, Brumzoo/Trish and Kris in FL w/ SB bullies for technical information and compassion.  Scheduled appt. w/ U of Penn for eval.  Prognosis is guarded...SB w/ tethered nerve.  Surgery goals would be to alleveiate pressure from TN and halt progression of disability AND maybe reverse incontinence eventually.  No guarantees for sure.  Pricey at $5000.00 and out of my financial reach BUT the hospital staff fell in LOVE w/ him.  He has been adopted by nurse, Michelle and will recieve ALL necessary services most w/ bare minimal fees.  MRI done yesterday, surgery scheduled for 11/13.  He is one lucky ducky of a puppy.  I am thrilled for BG (Bubba Gump) and a little sad for me.  To know him is to love him.  MANY thanks to all who made this moment possible.
puppy love,

I am soooooo glad to hear that!!!  YAY!!!!

The veterinary offices at Penn are unbelievable to say the least.  I have seen hospitals for people that aren't that state of the art.

Things happen for a reason, and I am very happy to hear that Bubba Gump will be well taken care of and cherished!!

We'll be thinking of Bubba on the 13th!! Grin
