A good rule of thumb is that it is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is for permission.  However, it would suck if they made you take it down.

OK Tosha, I totally understand your side but I also get what Brian's saying (don't throw anything at me !!)   

We did the correct thing by getting a permit for our pool and the pool installers put the pool 2 ft. over further than they were supposed to so when the township came out to inspect we had to call the pool people out again to take the pool down & move it over      (Obviously it's above ground  ) What a PITA    

So, do the right thing Tosha.....................Do the Right Thing
