Picked up my new puppy today! *CW*

  I finally went to pick up Manolito today, the weather was awful, what should have been a 4 hour trip turned into 6+ hours, but it was all worth it, he's such a cool little guy. He's almost 7 weeks old, I decided to pick him up today because I have the rest of the week off because of a national holiday so Ill have plenty of time to take care of him and start the housebreaking process properly.

  It didn't take him any time to adjust to us, he was confident and happy as soon as we got into the car and he didn't get sick or anything (although he did go potty a couple of times, it was a good thing I brought some extra towels  ). He spent half the trip playing with me and the other half sleeping.

  Once we got home it was time to introduce him to our miniature schnauzer: Sofia, I was a little worried because she's very temperamental and I didn't know how she would react, but so far so good, the first meeting went well and after that we didn't have any problems other than some growling on her part, Manolito kept trying to get her to play with him but she was a bit apprehensive at first,I think she's starting to come around and kind of sees him as her own pup, she spent the entire evening following him around and looking after him.

  Right now he's sleeping in a temporary crate I set up for him next to my bed, I know I wont get much sleep tonight because I have to keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't go potty in it.

He's almost 7 weeks old...Wow...that's sort of young to pick up a pup...But your from another Country, so maybe the breeders do things differently.

He's totally ADORABLE! Just I wouldn't socialize him outside where other dogs have been a lot until he was fully vaccinated. Just to be safe...

But other than that...He's just a fine bullie...And sometimes I forget that when you pick them up from the breeder their so small...Take TONS of pictures for they grow like weeds and soon you'll wonder how it happened. So plenty of picture taken...And of course...Sharing them with us~

  Absolutely, he wont be leaving the house until his immune system is working a full capacity, only for vet visits.
