How to Stack for show- sort of.....

I am looking for advice on how to teach dozer to stay still while I am stacking him, he is being examined, etc.      I have him basically trained to stand still, but that is it.  As soon as anyone get near him( like a judge, or even me!) he gets so excited, tries to wag his non-existent tail and then his butt is all over the place.     Second problem is the mouth/teeth examination, the minute you put your hand anywhere near his mouth he tries to swallow it whole...not bitting, just licking and slobbering like a fool!


SO, any tips on how to teach a really excited puppy to be calm and still, even for just a couple of minutes at a time?
