Ok, Manolito is getting bigger and bigger and he will need a new harness soon, what do you guys recommend? I would like one that can be secured with the seatbelt because he likes riding in the front seat with me. I  like the leather ones, but it can be synthetic too.

What harnesses do you guys have? (if you have links to them it would be great).

Here's a couple that can be attached to seatbelts:

And here are some previous discussions on here about different harnesses:

I ordered one of these, but have not got it yet. I made a short lead that I hook onto the seatbelt and then his collar

We have the vest harness for Lucy, its great and can double as a seat belt.  Its good b/c it doesn't chafe her belly, and has a bit of padding on the chest area.

Right now, Zoe rides in the back of the SUV in a crate, and she HATES it...   I was thinking of getting a harness/seatbelt setup, but had a couple of questions to add ---

She is 3 months old...  should I wait until she grows a bit before allowing her to, or is it safe if I get the proper harness, etc. now?

Next question - do you let your bullies ride in the front seat, or are they in the back seat?

Another option I have seen (and would like some opinions on) is to have a 6ft leash looped around and through the seatbelt in the back seat, run between the back and butt cusions in the passenger front seat, and hooked to the harness...   would this work just as well?

Thanks for all the info - I am sure Zoe would love to look out the window and talk to me in th efront, but we want to be safe too!   Smiley

Right now we just have regular harnesses that we bought at Tractor Supply but I think we might switch to the vest harnesses. Then to hook them in we have these things I'm not sure what it is called but it's like a short leash with seatbelt buckles on one end and a leash clip on the other. We just buckle them into the seatbelt thing and clip the other end to the harnesses. Then when we stop we just unhook the seatbelt and hook on the leash. Works great!!
