Somebody please help me~FRUSTRATED

  I need some serious computer help about how to post an avatar and pictures.

I am just learning the computer...I have pictures in photobucket, and I tried to make an avatar but I don't know if it was not able to get it to 64 pixels or what.  What exactly is the right code to make an avatar?  Like img, url, I'm not sure and I'm getting VERY DISCOURAGED!!
Can you explain the procedure step by step?  I'm really embarressed I don't know a lot of this stuff

  I honestly wish I could help you...But you see what I did was post a picture in this area and someone else sent me a link to attach it to my profile. I know you can't use the pictures from your "files" in your computer. But it must come from an outside website. So I would think...Photobucket might work...Have you tried to go into your profile and attach the link to the picture that way? Again...I am just guessing since I personally DIDN'T attach my avatar...

Pictures are easy...Click the "Additional Options" below the box you type in when posting a topic. And it will show you an area that will allow you to hit BROWSE and you just go in and find your picture that way and click OK and it attaches...It's pretty simple actually...I hope I didn't confuse you...But...I can't seem to do my own avatar yet can post pictures...

It's weird...I go to a purse forum and thier avatar system is the same as how I post pictures here. And it's so easy to attach even the avatar from your files on your home computer. Instead of needing an outside webpage...I wish it were that easy here... If it were I would be changing the avatar pictures all the time...but since I needed help...I don't change it at all...But leave it be...I would say if you try to post your avatar and still can't get it to work...Post a picture of which one you would like on this post topic...And someone here will do the steps for you and all you'll have to do is attach a link to your profile area and the picture will work...

You don't have to give it any tags, just put the location of the photo in the box, and click where it says, "I have my own pic"
