Hello Everyone. As you know, we've been experiencing a large growth in forum membership and site visitors lately. We now receive close to 30,000 visits per month. I'd like to increase our Moderation Team to help alleviate the workload of the current team. Please read the information below about being a "mod" and how to apply. Applications will be accepted until 12/28/2007 (unless we don't get enough

Here's the "Job Description"
Overall Role:Introduce topics as necessary
Monitor discussions
Keep discussions on track
Main Objective:Get People to Participate
Encourage friends and colleagues to join in the discussions
Keep up with relevant current issues to introduce
Why Become a Moderator?It's fun
It's a great way to share your interest and expertise in a topic
You'll get a chance to meet and discuss with a variety of different people
How Much Do I Have to Participate?Do what you are comfortable with
Introduce topics, monitor discussions, keep discussion on track
Make sure all are participating in a respectful manner
Contribute your opinions regularly if you would like
Moderator Authority:Warn users who are abusing the board
Block abusive users from participating in discussions
Delete inappropriate messages
Conduct yourself professionally at all times
How Long Can I Be a Moderator?Tenure will vary
If there is enough interest we may introduce a rotation so all can participate
This is NOT A PAID POSITION. Interested members will help support the forum out of the kindness of their hearts, the love of Bulldog Domain, the love of Bulldogs, just for fun, or any other reason you may have.
