Suggestion for the General Health board

There is so much great information on this board -- but there are so many stickies that it's kind of difficult to read the recent, active threads. They get kicked to the second page pretty quickly. It seems like some people read 'all new messages' so this doesn't affect them, but I read by clicking on the board I am interested in. And I'm lazy, so I don't like going to the second page, 

I wonder if the stickies could be grouped into fewer messages. I've seen other boards that have a Useful Threads sticky at the top and you open it up, and there are links to more threads with titles/explanations so people can easily navigate to what they are interested in.

Just an idea.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestion.  I'll look into what possibilities we have.  In the meantime I'll see if any of the older stickies can be cleared out.

I personally don't see the big deal, some of the stuff is old, yes, but how hard is it to click to page 2?

If it's a huge problem, why not make a read only board with health stuff in it??  If someone makes a post that they decide to sticky later it can be moved to that board by a mod.

The threads that are stickied are important, IMO. If someone needs to access one quickly, they don't have to search all over the forum for the thread. The only suggestion I would have would be to maybe move the link for tutorial on dremeling nails to Bulldog General as it is not really a health concern.

Since you're a regular visitor,   why aren't you just using the 'All Unread Topics' now?   That'll list everything, from all boards, that you haven't read yet.
It's what I do.
When things are slow I might go to individual boards and scan the first page or two to see if I might've missed something somehow.

I check the Unreads also.  No biggie.  I don't want to miss anything!

Ok, well if it doesn't bother anyone else, then it's no big deal.  I do think that at least a few could be consolidated because they are on similar topics -- but I do agree it's all good info!

I don't read 'all unread posts' because I only sign in if I want to make a comment. Laziness, again.
