Bulldogs can rarely breed naturally - in my experience they're pretty clumsy breeders. We bred Cooper twice (he's a very athletic type bulldog) and the first time around we tried natural and it just didn't happen. He was really just too excited and clumsy to get the job done. Coop sired two healthy AI'd litters, 9 puppies in the first & 7 in the second. He's now neutered.

I've bred Scarlett twice, both times we did AI, both times she was pregnant. 3 puppies on the first breeding, 4 on the second. I'd suggest AI  -  mainly because its your first time breeding and natural breedings can be dangerous. Are you having progesterone tests done to see when she'll be ready or just going with the studs timing?

Hi
On Monday night we had Dixie scanned to see if she had eggs and the answer was yes, so Tuesday night went on a 2hr car journey to take her to see her new friend, he was so lovely and yes she liked him Cheesy
So we are so looking forward to seeing her scan in 4 weeks time to see if she is pregnant Smiley Smiley
