Hi
For all of you that have had pregnant bullies, we have just breed Dixie and what I would like to know is what  she can & cant do while we are waiting to find out if she is pregnant, I know she was only mated a week ago but I'm worried if she does things she not  supposed to do.
The breeder we went to said to keep her calm, no jumping on furniture and rest her as much as we can, which has been very hard.
Is there anything else we need to know???
Thank you

Just let her be herself - during both pregnancies Scarlett didn't slow down at all until the very last days before her c section and even then she was playing with Cooper and Cash here and there. Just think about a human pregnancy, most women don't change anything until its time to give birth right?  Let her do what she's comfortable doing - no need to take her on long walks or anything but letting her play shouldn't be a problem, especially this early on.

The only thing I'd advise is to start giving her folic acid if you haven't already. It will greatly reduce the chance of cleft palate and other birth defects.

Human -  If you can get the liquid kind its muuuch much easier to give than the pills.
My vet is a repro specialist and recommended a large dose (6 times the human dose) She said that its been proven to lessen the chance of a cleft palate. Most  breeders use the regular human dosage which is usually one pill.
