The Forum is back - obviously =)

I just wanted to thank you all for your patience today and yesterday as the forum experienced some serious downtime.  It was in fact down almost all day.  My web host chose to disable the forum because of an increased load on the server.  In reviewing the web server logs it was clear that a search engine spider from Russia was crawling and indexing the forum - and not being nice about it either.  In the course of a single visit by the spider it crawled over 120,000 pages.  This spike raised the concern of my web host and they closed down the forum URLs.

I've since demonstrated to them where the issue came from and have put in measures to block the spider from future activity.  I've got my fingers crossed on this one.

In any case, we seem to be back to normal.

I must have tried reloading 20-30 times Wednesday night. Like hitting F4 was going to magically make the forum reappear
