Hi everyone...DH and I were just having a discussion over lunch about miss maggie and how there is something outside of our sliding glas patio doors that scares her - but not all the time - just sometimes - DH was saying that last night she was growling at the doors and stuff and when he tried to take her outdside she didn't wanna come down off the front porch and then she sure didn't wanna go anywhere near the deck - he said he played heck getting her to go to the bathroom.  I really think its a bird trying to nest in the tree that is outside the deck - but I've checked and even checked while she was barking and having a fit and couldn't ANYTHING...I guess its something that she can sense or see that we can't.  Anyone wanna share any of their bullies fears?  As far as I know the gohst at the sliding glass door is the ONLY thing that maggie is afraid of - most things she tackles FULL FORCE!

Goliath will sometimes see reflections from the television in the glass on our fireplace and freak out.  He starts barking and uttering his low warning growl.  Usually we can convince him not to be concerned.

He is also terrified of the vaccuum cleaner though he is a real tough-guy if I go up next to too.   Cheesy

that is FUNNY because maggie attacks our vacum....like she REALLY thinks she is gonna win!!  its so funny.  I'm afraid she is gonna get hurt though...now I usually let her hang out on our screeed porch (her FAV spot) while I vacum!! FUNNY!!!

Rufus is my big tough protective man, but he becomes the biggest baby at the strangest things. He's afraid of ceiling fans, plastic wal-mart bags, the vacuum and the broom! Go figure. Spud, however, hasn't shown me anything that he's afraid of. He seems to charge head-first into everything and anything!

It's great to hear all of the "quirks"!! Our big boy (60 lb Zeus) attacks the vacuum whenever he can. He'll literally drag it around the house if we let him. He also hates the ceiling fans! If they're on he'll bark at them for hours and jump up in the air to try an catch it. He also has a pension for petty larceny... we don't dare leave a kleenex in his range or he'll snatch it up and run off with it!!!

Only God knows what runs through the mind of a Bullie! LOL

Isn't that the truth - we would probably be amazed at what the bullies are thinking most of the time!!  Maggie does the SILLIEST things!  I just can't belive how tough she comes off and what a scardy cat she is sometimes - its kinda funny - but only mommy and daddy know that - everyone else thinks she is TOUGH GIRL!!!

The only thing that my little guy has been afraid of, well not even afraid more hesatent than anything, was one of the bushes out front.  I could figure it out for a long time. He would just sit there and sniff the air.  Come to find out later it was a hangout for a raccon that my niegbors have been unknowingly giving there cat food to.
