Progesterone level still low!!!

My dog's progesterone level was 0.125 on her 10th day. After 4 days it reads 0.269 na/ml. This is prety low concetration of progresterone for this stage of heat. She is 4.5 yo and never breed before. My other dog had PL of 5.0 by 12th day...
Does anyone know if this is normal?

Everyone is different - it will probably go up very quickly when/if it does go, so keep testing.   I've heard of people breeding as late as day 27.

Thanks a lot! She was 2.850 na/ml today. Vet says we have to test her daily from now on so i guess we are going back tomorrow hoping for better results. Can her progesterone go from 2.9 to 5.0 over night?

Thanks a lot! She was breed in her 3rd week and she is indeed pregnant! :-) How do you count teh dates do c0section? my vet says 60 days from her last breeding, but other people are saying 63? i do not have option for emergency c-section as she is due during holidays... My vet wants to do it on dec 31 which is her 60th day after last breeding. we breed her on nov 1st and nov 2nd. please advise. thanks again!

I believe its 63 days fom her LH peak - go to Bulldogsworld.com and ask on the medical forum there, there are a lot of very experienced breeders who can advise you better than me.
