Bulldogs - there is no comparison :)

« on: February 20, 2010, 10:17:55 AM »

Stray English Bulldog found the evening of 2/19 in Lenexa, KS around the Oak Park Mall area!!!

A co-worker of mine just called me & said an English Bulldog showed up on her doorstep last night with no collar/tags. She took him this morning to a vet to have him scanned for a micro-chip & their wasn't one. She was unsure as to what she should do next so I told her to walk him around her neighborhood & go door to door to see if anyone recognizes him. Also to take him to some of the local vets in her area to see if they recognize him. If she doesn't find his owner, I told her we would "foster" him until someone comes forward to claim him. I just don't want her to take him to a shelter where he may be put down if noone takes him Sad

If we do foster him, I will post pictures & hope his owner stumbles across this board in search of him! I am hoping & praying that he wasn't "abandoned" by his owner Sad

Good news  Smiley

I was looking on craigslist.com this morning under the lost/found section for any postings of a lost bully in the Lenexa area recently. Came across a post regarding a family missing their Bulldog "Pete" who escaped from their fenced yard Friday morning! I called my friend & asked if the address they provided was close to her & she said it was a block away so we believed she had Pete Smiley I gave her the phone number of Pete's owners & I am happy to report that Pete has been reunited with his family! The owners even sent me an email & thanked us for helping find their beloved boy! So glad there was a happy ending to this story!
