Eddy & Leroy

« on: February 24, 2010, 10:25:10 PM »

Eddy is pretty pink / red along his side area...both sides.  About 3 inches long, 2 inches wide.

At first I thought it was an allergy.  Then he got in a fight and I thought it was redness due to that.  But, it seems independent of any of that.  Could it be an infection of some sort?  Not sure if I should worry.  His energy / demeanor has not changed and it doesn't bother him from outward appearances.  ANy help is greatly appreciated.

The best way to describe it would be like if he got scraped along the sides and he's all red now - but no scrape marks.

Maybe a mild irritation to something new in his environment?  How long has it been that way?  I don't really know what to tell you but I'd maybe try giving him a Benadryl, maybe it's an allergy
