A little over a month ago, I lost my mom to colon cancer. While she was sick and in the hospital, I found out that both her parents ( i was too young to know) had both died of colon cancer. So after she passed, I contacted my family doctor and told him of the news I had learned.he immediately scheduled me for a colonoscopy. They usually wait til you are 50 ( I am 43) but due to the family history he felt it was needed. So two weeks ago I have the colonoscopy, and they found one polyp. I had to wait two weeks for the biopsy results. They finally arrived this morning . So here is the great news I mentioned earlier. NO CANCER!!!! I was so nervous waiting on the results and now am so relieved to finally get them

I just wanted to say I am so sorry for the loss of your mother but I am glad everything came back OK for you. That has to be a very big relief to know the polyp was negative. {{{HUGS}}}
