So while the boys are awake and in their active mode (usually 2 hours a day), we crate and rotate by putting each in the crate for an hour at a time, to prevent them from sprinting through the house since PC is limping.  We don't want to put PC in the crate the entire time, especially since he doesn't get to go out like MB every night for walks, so we split the time.  When one is in the crate, the other just sleeps. But if both are out, all they do is run and play! MB came to us crate trained. PC hasn't seen a crate until this one.  When PC is in there, he sleeps.  When MB is in there...well, take a look!

We're never home when we crate him (he will chew things if we leave him out) so we've never actually seen it til this crate and rotate routine.  But, every single time we come home, there is what looks to be a puddle of water near the crate so I'm guessing he does it when we aren't home.  My concern is that he'll get his jaw caught on the wire when we're not here, and I don't know how to prevent that.  After a nightmare experience with PC getting his jaw caught on the handle of my friend's exersaucer when he was a baby, I surely don't want that to happen again!
