I don't know if that finds you any comfort, but it sort of makes some sense of the chaos of loss, for me.  I hope you and Tiff are doing ok, I know how hard this is even if you were mentally aware of it, you can never be prepared for it.  It is going to be hard and I hope you will find peace soon.  My heart goes out to you.
