Ok so the last couple of days Tallulah has taken it upon herself to add some Dry Wall to her diet. She did this  some when she was a puppy and we just wrote it off to being a puppy, but now it is really a prb I have 3 nice size holes in the wall.  Was just wondering if anyone elses baby has done this and if so what deterent have you all used. (note she is doing this at night)..

Walmart in the dog section has safe spray that you spray on wall and it won't hurt the walls at all and it taste bitter to the dog! works wonder haha dozer went though a stage where he loved the dry wall. couple sprays of the bitter stuff he went nuts and never tried to chew again.

I've heard some dogs actually like the Bitter Apple, but try it - Tabasco is ALWAYS my go to for any unauthorized chewing.

(even scared off the vermin trying to move in for the Winter!  Wink  )

the prob with the bitter apple is that it wears off pretty darn fast. i'm not sure i would put tabasco on my drywall tho, that would prob stain pretty good. i would prob crate her at night and try to address the behavior during the day.

Spike is a termite and loved to chew drywall, We had the holes professionally patched and I stick double sided packing tape over where the holes used to be and sprinkle curry powder, cayenne pepper and the side that faces out. A couple of licks of the icky spices usually does the trick.
