Another booboo

Winston was absolutely fine yesterday.  This morning he was limping.   His pad "looked" a little swollen.  I gave him two baby aspirin and we also soaked his foot in epsom salt.  He felt better.  Our cleaning lady checked on him a couple times today for me too.  Getting home tonight though, he couldn't put ANY weight on it and his leg was sort of "dangling."  Rushed him into the vet (thank goodness they could work us in).  They think it's an abscess of some kind or he was stung by something.  He was extremely sensitive to the touch.  She gave him a pain shot plus antibiotic shot which she said would work immediately.  Sent him home with antibiotics and pain meds.   He is now down to a svelt 47.7 pounds!  But she doesn't want him to lose any more.  I am staying home tomorrow (no daycare for him) and will be soaking his foot off and on all day.

oh no!! poor baby really looks like he's feeling crummy. hope his little paw is healed up quick and he's back on all 4 !

He is back to his old self today.  He's playing with his toys, chasing Ashi and as normal as can be! I am sooooo relieved.  Thank you all for your good thoughts!
