Meet Tigger, my friend's dog. I photographer her last week and my friend gave me permission to post her pics here.  She is my Meatball's biological grandma, his mom's mom.   She's the perfect size for a female bully, weighing in at 37 lbs., which fits her tiny frame perfectly. She makes my guys look like giants, and they are both around 50 lbs!  She's 5 years old and just as active as my boys, which gives me hope that their activity level will not slow. We used to be told that by 15 mos they mellow, not the case. PC is almost 3 and shows no sign of slowing down and looking at Tigs, I hope he never does!  She's the first Bulldog (female no less) that gives my PC a run for his money when they chase toys at the beach. Just like MB, she can swim without a life vest, something PC cannot do.  People are always commenting at how they thought this breed was lazy, til they meet these 3!

Of course, PC thinks it's his photo shoot time any time I go into the photo room, so he poses like he thinks he should!

And Meatball:

And here is Tigger, soooo cute and so much fun to photograph!

And a couple recent ones of my boys from the park:

And I wanted to share a canvas I had made with PC's pic.  It's something I will cherish for a long, long time! I highly recommend Canvas People, the quality is outstanding.  This is the same pic as the one in my siggy.  This photo was taken with my iPhone, so the quality is a bit off.

Gorgeous pics!!!  You take awesome photos (with the cutest subjects of course) & I love the canvas print.  Tigger is beautiful & that's so cool that Meatball gets to hang with his grandmother.   Grin

Tigger is stunning, I wish I had a full body shot of her perfect brindle look!

We drop them off for playdates sometimes and tell MB he's going to Grandma's house. I don't think he gets it, since he treats grandma the way he does PC...jumps on her, wrestles, and licks her face. I'm willing to bet most don't do that to their Grandma!

On a side note, I've always wondered if dogs would recognize their babies months later and I guess not.  MB was returned to the breeder, just 6 months after they got him, and saw his mom.  She didn't show any reaction to him which I assume means she had no idea that used to be her baby! I guess this explains the , um, unnatural relationship PC and I have.  He considers me his mama and I wouldn't have it any other way!

They're so photogenic!  LOVE PC's tongue!

Meatball seems to have his G-ma's face despite the coloring difference.  So cute!

You really see the resemblance?  We have tried so hard to see it but she is so petite and cute and MB, well, he brings meaning to the phrase, "A face only a mother could love!"  Grin You can't tell in those pics, but she is tiny next to him.  This is the only picture I have of the two of them next to each other, from my iPhone.   MB looks like a giant and he was only 44 lbs. at that time!

I see the resemblance, even though she's so much smaller.  What a petite little thing !
