Molly is chasing her bottom

Here comes round one of concerned bullie mama!   

Last night I saw her chase her bottom just a couple times.  Tonight she is doing it a lot more, and I think something is bothering her.  She's got a corkscrew tail, but not really much of a tail pocket, as far as I can tell.  I tried to use a wipe to see if it just needed cleaned out, but I don't think it helped.

I did a search, saw some advice to clean out, maybe try some hydrogen peroxide.  Maybe I should give her a bath, clean it out, and dry the area really well.  Maybe she needs her anal gland expressed?  She is pooping okay. 

Any other advice?

Scooting is usually a sign of needing the glands expressed. Mine have never done that so I really don't know why she would be doing that except that maybe something back there is bothering her. I would just check her tail area for any signs of soreness or infection. Giving her a bath might just help.

Gator was also chasing his tail and he would sit and spin around.  Took him to the vet for his last puppy shot and they cleaned out his glands and he stopped.  Might need to take her in for that.

Id start with a nice bath, get in there good, i use hibiclens for steelers butt n it helps alot. Clean well n apply some diaper rash ointment  i use avenno see if that helps if not id ck out the anal glands.
