I'm glad it's working. I started out using the distilled water for a different reason and found that her stains disappeared. So that was an added bonus.

Well....they are back! ARGH!!! I am thinking that it might be the spring weather here and maybe an environmental allergy? Who the heck knows....any more suggestions? I can't find the angel eyes ANYWHERE! They had it about a month ago at the feed store but I have gone to two different ones and no one seems to have it anymore.  What happened with that?

I order the Angel Eyes for our Havanese from Amazon.  It's the cheapest place I could find it.
Someone also told me that as far as using distilled water, you should only use it a few times a week.  I need to do some googling and see why.

That is interesting about the distilled water. Wonder why?

The trainer at PetCo suggested distilled water, but NOT water from milk jug type jugs - only the PBA Free type clear hard plastic or glass.

Meatball has perfectly white facial fur {except for his freckles!} and it's due to diet. Absolutely no more tear stains - and looking back, he had some pretty good ones when he first came to us.

I'm still going to pick up some of the organic ACV to try rinsing his feet in - maybe it'll help him stop licking.

At least clear the rusty stains on them.  Sad

I used Angel Eyes on Bean too, it cleared them right up. I think it has a bit of an antibiotic in it. She had such a tight tail pocket and I swear it helped keep the moisture down. I have been lucky with the boys, no issues there, but Magoo has been on antibiotics since he came to live with me. Finally he doesn't need them anymore, waiting to see if he has any issues with stains now.

I have him on Nutrisca Grain Free * Potato Free Lamb and Chick Pea

But I know some of your babies have issues with the Chick Pea.  I did some googleing and found suggestions that potatos were suspect so I took a stab at changing him up.

The teenagers are out this weekend or I'd post up a picture of him - no tear stains.

Some foods make them horrible so it's trial and error. His two issues are the tear stains and feet eating.  He doesn't dive into the bowl like "Yippee Dinner!!"  but he never does that unless I put spaghetti sauce or meat drippings in it.  (which negates the whole restricted diet thing...)

How old is ur baby again? If he is under a year u shouldnt use angel eyes it can be harmful to the teeth. When i was on a mission to rid steelers i used a BRITA filter for water, grain free food with raw at nite...wiped twice a day with the trizchlor 3 (malasab replacement) and added enzymes to his food. Recently he was having a bit of an allergy issue n they started to come back   Double duty on the above n they stopped

Also if his eyes r weeping a bit thereis some ointment u can use from the vet and it helped also

Good luck its so frustrating!

Well, I started with some wipes from the vet and am doing peroxide as well.  I need to try another food I am sure but I can't go to the good feed store til this weekend.  Thought I would give a stab at Fromm and see how that goes.  The wipes are working pretty good on the underside of his rope so that is good.  I am cleaning with the wipe, drying well and putting desitin and it has only been 4 days and it is looking great.  I also used it on his acne and his tear stains and the acne looks a bit better too.

Anyway, onward and upward! We will lick this! lol.

What food are you feeding now?  I believe there are several topics on foods here which may help if you're wanting to change foods.
Glad you're getting your stains under control.  When Winston was younger I used to use the desitin in the ropes as well.
