You may already know Rondo from the guest board but here he is! He is 9 weeks old and growing every day. We love the little guy even though he is a bit mischievous. Unfortunately he got sick last night with an upper respiratory infection but he let us sleep in for the first time without at 2 a.m. potty wake up call. He's still playful and energetic as ever. If you have any experience with puppy insurance I am exploring options for the little guy. I posted a thread on the General Health discussion board if you can give me your input. Anyways - here he is!

I am a Celtics fan as a matter of fact! Thank you for the kind words everybody - it's great to be a part of the forum. We're trying to take pictures every week because he's grown so much just in the first week. Does anyone have any advice on preventing my little guy from biting? My wife is so discouraged and stressed out because he gets bursts of energy where he just flies around nipping at toes and arms. We are consistent with the same sound and making eye contact with him to let him know he shouldn't be doing it. We also did the spray in the face but he seemed to like the drink of water at times! I understand chewing but hopefully at some point he lets go of the whole biting thing? We love the guy to death but he just doesn't seem to understand biting doesn't equal playing! Anyways - any advice would be appreciated!

Unfortunately normal puppy behavior....i wouldnt spray anything in his face, God forbid something gets in his eyes...i have used a spray bottle but i just give a squirt on his butt.

Again i was scratched n nibbled on for months. I did put bitter apple spray on my hands n feet sometimes it can also be effective to gently put ur thumb on the roof of this mouth for a couple seconds...saying no bite and give him his appropriate chew toy. They really do outgrow it and u just have to have patience n remember hes just a baby.
