Ashi, our widdle wat but also known as our bullie wannabe.....has had an upset tummy recently.  For the last three days, every time she eats she then quietly and politely turns around and throws it all up.  She has been on Blue Buffalo chicken for 6 months and never had any adverse reactions.  I doube checked the date on the bag and it is good till 2012.  I placed a call to our vet last night and she said to give her 1/4 tab of a pepcid a/c 10 mg. and not feed her again.  Then in the am give her one and wait 30 minutes before feeding and add some boiled rice.  Well I did and it stayed down.  She is acting normally except for the above.  Anyone's bullie go through this?

Meaty only seems to throw up when he's over-hungry - he tosses bile.

But he's not a lil'bullie either - he's an OEB and has far less problems than everyone seems to have to deal with.

Agree with not feeding for a day or so for upset stomach and then starting up with a smaller amount (and maybe rice). Usually everything is fine; but otherwise the vet can doubtless advise. (Luckily our boy never has thrown up except when he has eaten too big a portion). Hope your little one is better.

She only vomited once over the weekend and it was around midnight, was a very small amount and was only liquidy.  Still giving her the pepcid and will for about 3 more feedings.  Going to call the vet anyway...maybe have her blood work done?  Just to be on the safe side.

I always take my doggies in to the vet if they throw up more than 2 meals in a row. I'm super paranoid  ever since I had a ferret that ate some rubber non-skid feet and almost died from an intestinal blockage. Luckily she was fine after a surgery to remove the things.

Aww. Poor baby. I hope Ashi feels better.
I would see the vet and have the blood-work done. There are many things that can cause repeated vomiting and vomiting can cause dehydration.

aw, gee, thanks.  Roll Eyes She is such a stinker on eating though.  Tongue which I have read is a trait of the havanese.   My neighbor mixed up some carrots, chicken, broth, garlic and sweet potato with a sprinkling of mint.  She eats it like a little piglet when at the neighbors but not for me.  Angry Go figure.  At least it is all staying down now.
