Hey there, my good buddy Ernesto, an 8-yr old English Bulldog has got a little eye problem he wanted me to ask you all about.

One week ago, I noticed that he was squinting a little bit in one eye. A few days later, he opened his eye more and more, especially when I inquired about feeding and car rides. I don't believe he has scratched it, we have been down that road before but there is definitely something wrong that I want to make right.

The symptoms: Red puffy eye lid that covers more of his cornea than usual....especially when he begins to doze off.
No tearing.
When he is focused, or interested, the eyelid slides back into normal place.
No real discoloration. It is as pink as it usually is.

After searching around, I wonder if it is a entropion or ectropion lid?
Any suggestions for getting this lid back into shape?
A salve or rinse or anything that I can do prior to a trip to the vet?

thanks.
Ernie says thanks.

Hi Ernie!  Don't mess around with your eyes.  Ask your owner to get you in for a check up!
