We have an announcement.

Aaron will be arriving tonight or tomorrow morning after attending a friend's wedding in Salt Lake City on Sat. He picked up Miss Daisy Mae in Herriman< Utah and we will be her last home. She's 11 and has some time left. I can't wait to meet her. M internet is down currently> I will post pic as soon as possible. Her pic is still up on Petfinder.

Aaron and Daisy got in at 4am. They drove straight through from Salt Lake City. (900+ miles) I got her settled in the ex pen in the living room and left for school at 7:30. She seemed tired. Aaron was off work today and he stayed up most of the day getting unpacked and letting her get acquainted with the cats and yard . We took her for a ride into town on an errand after I got home from school. I  spent 10 minutes trying to convince her that her butt and my butt don't fit side by side in the passenger seat. I got her on to the floor and then back into my lap. She's like 60 lbs! A very big girl compared to Hank and Dulce. She seems to know what a drive thru is too lol.

She needs eye meds twice a day, and Rimadyl. I 'm going to have a lump on her leg checked and her ears look a bit gross. I might see if I can sneak down to work with her after school this week or get her in on Friday. I have the ear cleaner, but you know..
She's pretty soft. She is already wrapping Aaron around her paw. She loves her belly rubs.

Thanks. So far so good. Poor kid is afraid of thunder and she arrived as we are having some weird summer storms. She fits right in here though. Hank and Dulce don't seem to mind her. I haven't let them get too close yet though. It's strange to me that I can barely lift her.

Any updates?  As far as thunder storms, we used the Thundershirt and it worked well for Winnie (RIP  )

She's doing pretty well. She still needs to see the doc for her eyes and rimadyl. I can only get her in on standby on Fridays.
The storms seem to be over.  I am going to look into calming options so we are ready. I measured her chest the other day. Wow 34 inches!
She got to ride around home depot the other day in the radio flyer.
