 Embarrassed
We just bought home our Palie on Tuesday, 9/13 at 8 wks old. Tuesday she already had a slightly running nose. Later that night she started what seemed like coughing. By Wednesday she had gotten worse. Her nose was runny real bad and coughing not stop. Thursday morning my husband took her to the vet and she said she was sick. Gave her a steriod shot and gave us oral antibiotics to give her. Vet said she should start feeling better in a few day. Tonight my poor Palie is just miserable. We have to hand feed her and give her water by seringe or else she wouldn't eat or drink anything. She lays in her bed ALL day long just lathorgic. I don't know what to do for her. When she coughs she sounds like she's chocking from all the phlem in her throat. She looks so miserable and sad. My heart is breaking for her. What should we do?

you need to take her to another vet. It sounds like she has a URI and bullies do not act sick until they are really sick.

I  would say she has either kennel cough or pneumonia. I would contact ur local bullie rescue n see if they have a vet familiar with bullies. Harlow had both when she was a baby also. It took a couple months to get better. U can do a search on here for a plethora of helpful info. I would also contact ur breeder. Wishing u the best.

I agree with the above. I would definitely contact the breeder and see if they will pay for the vet bills. Did they give you any kind of health guarantee? I hope Palie feels better soon!  Kiss
