Energy level is still way down from normal but she is making progress.

She enjoyed sitting out in the yard a couple times today in between naps.

Only thing I am keeping track of is a lack of interest in water.  She is getting some liquid from the wet canned food and I have been dipping my finger in a water bowl and letting her lick to hydrate as well.

And after dinner she went to her water bowl and drank deeply.

I'd say recovery going well at this point

I can just imagine what captions one could put at the bottom of her "back of the car" picture!!  Poor baby!

Hopefully her recovery will be uneventfull!

I think it is safe to say recovery is almost done.  Her energy is almost back to normal and she is trying to get in trouble now.

I just caught her trying to scavenge in the kitchen

She tried to play innocent!

Will give it a few weeks or so before I report back on how I think the procedures have impacted her

Hey....i havent been here in a bit but if u remember i had harlow and steeler done when they were young. My vet did it when he did their spay/neuter. I have been extremely happy with the results. They both have zero breathing problems and steel can walk forever. They also handle heat better i believe.

Just a heads up we had zero issues with the palette but the nares took about two weeks to heal. They got crusty and i would clean them with a q tip and warm water so dont be alarmed if that happens. I love the pic of her n gummi. Hope all is well. Hugs

The stitches in Axel's nose had to be removed because they did not absorber like they were meant to, so you might want to be on the look out for that also.  Tongue
