After a long wait (well for those of you who knew this was coming), I've finally gotten the bugs (all I hope) worked out of the new forum Member Map feature. 

What is a member map? 
Basically it is a series of maps of the world displaying the locations where our fellow members are located.  Each member can place a "push pin" on the map to indicate where they live.

To access the member map, log in to the forum and then click the Member Map button at the top.  Then click the PLACE YOUR PIN link above the map.  You'll notice that you can select specific country or region of the world to view as well. 

Let's have fun with this and let me know if you have any questions or problems - use the Goliath's Forum Help and Tips board.

Yay!!!  I just tried to do it and got an error message saying:
An Error Has Occurred!
You cannot view the member map.

I wanted to suggest that you switch your view to your country our region before using the PLACE YOUR PIN link.  To do this, select your country (USA for example) from the dropdown and then click the VIEW button.  After that place your pin.  It will hep ensure a more accurate placement.

You can move it.  Just go back and clickREMOVE PIN and then  PLACE YOUR PIN again and it will let you pick a different location.
