I just remembered dailup days and long threads / lots of pics are hard.
So here's a separate thread with some pics of our new boy.

OMG!!! He may be a mud-bullie too.  I didn't get a pic but while he was enjoying a grass strip next to the deck he discovered the 4 " wide strip around the deck I keep free of grass. It had rained so it was cool, dark and moist. He immediately started trying to snowplow his face into it and lay in it. I moved him and he went back twice so we went elsewhere.

Here's a couple of pics - at breeder, road trip home and a couple from today.
He found some filtered sun by the back door and plopped down on the airconditioner vent for a nap!\

Ahhh them were PRICELESS! The look of love on the woman's face...Was it the breeder whom raised the pup...Or your wife...I am not sure...But it made my heart melt looking at the love you could read on her face...

And...He found the register vent...SMART PUP! And adorabull as well...Kisses to Mr.Chubbs~ Kiss

That's my Wife,  Vangie in the first photos.  She loves babies and has been asking for another dog for 15 years. I think I scored some bullie points here.  Smiley

Ha!  Thanks to all and Mr. Chubbs sends everyone you smooches, a few toe licks and an ankle bite if you're not paying attention.

Had his first vet visit this morning.  10lb 10oz.
They gave me a free first  Frontline Heartguard pill. (one)   From the majority response here I asked about Frontline Plus when I was checking out and how much.  Hah!  They had it but there was a coupon in the Heartguard box and the first Plus was free too.

His stools got very soft to runny yesterday evening. I woke up to his barking this morning at 1:53 and ran down to take him out.  He peed and I took him in but sat with him for awhile. The wife came down. Then he started to hump up by the kitchen table and I snatched him up and headed for the door. We left a brown streak to the door and slung a little on the curtains as I turned the corner.  While we finished up outdoors and cleaned up, Vangie put the steam vac to work.  Went back to bed and crate and not a peep till we started our morning at 5:30.    Smiley

Oh, I decided we'd not walk to the back of the property for his potty breaks yesterday afternoon. I told everyone they could just stand on the deck and put him on the grass strip between the deck and fruit trees. He has already imprinted the north 40 though. If he just needs to pee he'll do it in the grass. If it's poo time and you put him down, he bee lines down the trail to the back part. Does his business then comes back. I thought that was just too cool. We hadn't even let him walk back there. We've carried him every time but that's his official poop place now. Of course it blends in with the leaf mulch too well so the flys will tell me the spots to hose down. Smiley
