Sarge's neck size...

I just measured Sarge's neck...It's 23 inches...The same size as Tank's neck at two years old...Yet Sarge is just 6 mths. old!

I measured his head. (Not sure if I measured the right area...From in front of his ears and around the bottom of his head) And it was 22 inches...Maybe a little more. I think I pulled the string taunt...

And Tank's head just a shy 21 1/2 inches... Now...If I measured the right places...I am not certain. But they are the same area on both dogs...That Sarge is the same size...And they say their heads grow until their 2 yrs. of age...If that saying is true...Sarge will have a HUGE head by the time he reaches that age...

I thought they looked to have the same size head...And well the measurements don't lie...Their heads and neck is about the same size...Other than Sarge being smaller bodied looks LARGER for some reason... I figured it's from his body not being as large as Tank's in length and height makes his head look bigger...But...My baby...Isn't much of a baby no longer

I know the feeling.. Chubbs is getting all big and burly right before my eyes! I can't believe how big she is!

Too bad our babies can't stay babies forever!   But then the novelty would wear off...

I am seeing all the new puppies being posted...And...It's amazing that Sarge was ever that small...

But I look at him...And think...Goodness his head is soooo big! Everyone comments on how large his neck and head is...That I thought to measure it...

Now Tank is pouting...That ones will take it the wrong way and say he has a little head and neck... ...But I keep telling him HE'S PERFECT!

It might sound stupid,but when we were looking and found Rusty and Maggie from their breeders,and we picked them out from the litter,we looked for the ones with the biggest heads and feet.
We wanted to have a big dog of both breeds.

Ummm I didn't measure Sarge's waist...But his neck...It's Mel's waist that is as tiny as Sarge's neck...So would Mel make Sarge's neck look...FAT!?! ...

Still can't get over Sarge is just 6 mths. old...And soooo big!

We had our sub contractor over to meet up and look at lake water (He does plumbing and heating) And he evidently didn't realise the boys were so much alike yet opposite markings...He stood on the deck...Gawking at the two...And pointing back and forth at the two of them...Like he was confused...It was quite hilarious~

I can just see the contractor!  He must have been totally dazed and confused for the first couple minutes!  How funny!

WOW!That's really big neck size but it surely will look good on fancy collars..I would't be too worried about it!I think Sarge is just a fast grower.I wish my boys head and neck were larger

Yep, I have a freakishly tiny waist... Andy's head is the same size!!  He can put my belts on his head... LOL!!!!!!!!

Yeah...Tank is such a HUGE bulldog...(74 lbs)...But I think Sarge will have him beat with the measurements in the end...Poor Tank...He's to be the "big" one...He isn't liking that ones are paying more attention to Sarge. Even though Sarge isn't the type of dog to wiggle butt all over greating people. He is "aloof"...Stays by me. And just looks at visitors. If they pet him...He does show he enjoys it. But no wiggle butt. And he walks away from visitors...And Tank is like...ME! ME! HERE I AM!!! OVER HERE!!! AND IS ABOUT KILLING HIMSELF WITH HIS BUTT WIGGLE...And don't leave unless told to go lay down...

My son said...Sarge has a BIG head because everyone says he is so great looking...They caused him to get such a big head for just a pup!
