I don't have a pic yet but mr. Chubbs has shown us a goofy routine when he's real tire during the day. Kind of like the mini fits all of my babies would do when they were frustrated at being too sleepy.
First he keeps trying a different position on the floor, huffing but just can't get comfortable (now I know at this point he'd be contented with a crate nap).
In the living room, on the couch he'll start shoving his face down in the back crack or between the cushions... and BARK!
It's so funny. Butt up and head buried in a crack or under pillows and barking although you can just barely hear it since he's got his head buried.
Outside, I put a big old comforter down cause I thought he was tired. He tried different positions; kept shifting around; tried rearranging it; finally he had his head shoved in between a couple of layers and barked.

Now when he does that I can take him to the crate and not get a single sound from him.
