Sorry had a hard time repleying to this post, very glad your son will be OK .. please tell him and all the men and women that serve our country that we love them..just a thought maybe send him a pic of Mr Chubs that might cheer him up. Wink

thanks again to all who've followed James' post.
I had actually locked the topic so as not to drag it out.

Yes,  he is right handed so he'll have a few challenges ahead of him. I haven't heard anything more since the surgery but I would imagine he'll eventually get full range back. It'll just take awhile  after healing to get the tendons and skin stretched back out to full range of movement.  Again, that's just speculation on my part.

The goofy part -  I've got scars on the same hand in almost identical areas from putting my hand through plate glass at a money exchange in the Philippines.

Anywho... thanks again for the thoughts and well wishes.  I'm locking the door again though.
