Since there isn't room in my car for a kennel to keep Buddy in while we are traveling I was thinking about these dog seat restraints.  There is one that is a harness with a buckle you clip into the regular seat belt goes.  I was wondering if anyone has ever used one of these.
Here is a picture of it.
Thanks
!

That looks almost exactly like the one we use for Goliath when we take the Taurus.  It seems to work well and he has gotten used to it.  At first he would turn around and get all tangled up in it - nothing bad but just unable to move  Smiley

I think they are a great alternative to the crate.

Here he is getting tangled up in it:

..and here he is after he figured it out:

Oh perfect.  I think I'm going to get it.  Bud usually lies down when he's in the car but I worry when my husband drives and is whipping around corners and braking too fast Roll Eyes  Plus heaven forbid we ever get in an accident while Bud is in the back it could save him and us.

Hi Lissa,
I have these for Wilma and Trixie.  Mine are fleece lined.  They are VERY nice.  Even my vet commented on them.  They cost about $30-35.  Trixie tries to get out of it but settles down after we are on the road.  They are very easy to use...

Thanks Jodi!  I'm going to pick one up this weekend.  Buddy is really good with a harness since he's got one on everyday so I don't anticipate a problem with this.
Thanks for the comments!
