I love my Boo Bear!!!

WWW
« on: July 07, 2004, 09:20:03 AM »

My bulldog breeder friend emailed me this morning to tell me he has four puppies - 2 girls and 2 boys.  They are 7 days old today.  Please talk me out of getting another puppy!!!  I want one because they are so cute and so much fun - but to have to do all of those puppy things over again is SO much work.  The peeing, teething, chewing, biting - AHHHHH!  Royce (my husband) wants to drive down there to look at a female.  We talked about getting a puppy this summer but because Buddy was always so hyper active with other dogs we didn't think it would work out.  Now seeing him with Maggie and how good he is with her we're wondering how he would be.
Ok you guys - talk me out of it before it's too late - LOL Grin

I can't help  you there.  I'd be lying   Tongue

However, maybe if you tell us where the pups are, we'll go down and snatch them up before you get a chance - would that help?  Huh

I could not talk you out of this either.  To have a friend who is a bulldog breeder was your first mistake.  Tongue  GO GO GO!

So, Lissa, what's the verdict? When is the newest addition coming home?  Wink

Man!!!  I don't know!  We are talking about it.  I asked Dave (the breeder) if any of the females were really little.  I want to find out how big the parents are because I want my next bullie to be smaller - not 63lbs like Bud.  I know the mothers name is Bertha and she's a white brindle.  The father is Oliver but I don't remember what he looked like.
I'm really tempted, like really tempted.  They can't come home until the first part of September anyway so I have some time.
I had my eye on a breeder I met at a BCA meeting who has really small bulldogs with really huge heads.  It's just that the BCA breeder has show dogs and they cost three to five thousand.  I can't see spending that much on a show dog that I'm not going to show.
Ahh we will see Wink
