Okay after all this time I finally took the big step and filled out the rescue application on the BCA website.  Took me a good two hours answering all the questions.  One of the officers who handles rescue placement with Heart of American Bulldogs said they will have two rescues with them at the Fun Match this weekend and are looking forward to meeting us.

Thanks everyone.  I know nothing about the two rescues. In this area they apparently do not post on websites. They prefer to have you meet the dogs in person and probably do some heavy duty screening. Which is understandable.   I figure it will be awhile since they will have to do all the background checking and possible home visit. Will keep everyone informed of any changes and definitely post on saturday evening how things went at the show.
