It is with great sadness that I post of Mya's passing yesterday. She was so a sweet, loyal, fantastic bully. We brought her over to Germany with us when we PCSd here and she loved walks in the German countryside and playing in the snow. I couldn't even go to work today because I am devastated. Her passing was unexpected and sudden. We left her yesterday morning to go to work and school and when we got home, she has passed away. The night before she went to bed earlier then usual, and the next day she threw up her food. She had some blood in her poop a few days before, but I thought she ate something she shouldn't have. When my son found her when we went to let her out once he got home from school, she was found with a lot of bloody diarrhea and vomit.  She did not show any signs of being in pain, or being sick (other than what I mentioned) and it took us completely off guard. My son, cleaned her up and took care of the mess as he didn't think I can handle it. He is almost 18, just so you don't think I had my youngest son (11) witness that.

As I write this I am smiling through my tears because she was so funny and such a velcro dog, you couldn't help but smile when she pranced in a room. I researched on this board before we became her family and used it as a constant reference throughout the years. I popped in from time to time, but the board seemed to have gone quiet.

So love your babies extra hard today.

Thank you,,
Tina

Oh no! I remember Mya and I'm so sorry she is gone.

Rest in Peace Sweet Girl  :'( :-*

I hope peace finds your heart soon and that is not long before memories bring smiles instead of tears.
