Tail Pocket
A small indented area underneath the tail. Some Bulldogs have their tail set in this pocket. In these cases, special effort is needed to keep that pocket clean and dry. For information about caring for the tail pocket see Caring for the tail pocket


Theobromine
A bitter, colorless alkaloid, derived from the cacao bean, found in chocolate products. It is this chemical that makes chocolate harmful to dogs. See our article Bulldogs and Chocolate.
