Do you need pet health insurance for your Bulldog? 
Deciding whether or not to purchase pet insurance for your Bulldog can
be a difficult decision. There are many different insurance providers,
each with different offerings. It is very common for the provider to exclude
coverage for problems that are considered genetic or inherent in the particular
breed (skin fold dermatitis in Bulldogs for example). Many offer several
coverage packages allowing you to customize your Bulldog's plan and add
coverage for such things as cancer.
Why do people get insurance in the first place? With human health insurance,
the answer is pretty simple - to provide a method to pay for routine and
not so routine health care issues. With Bulldogs it's not that cut and
dry. Usually you have to pay your veterinarian up front and will be reimbursed

Sure, they will still love us if we don't get them insurance, but we owe it to them to provide the best care possible. In many cases, pet health insurance is a means to that end.
