Rainbow Bridge Poem
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Beulah
We are deeply saddened to learn that a recently rescued 3-month old bullie named Beulah made the trip to the Rainbow Bridge. Luckily for her, she had an angel, Tina, to take care of her and provide her with lots of love in her final days with us. We wish Beulah a safe journey to the Bridge. You will be missed.
Lacey
In honor of our friend Lacey, a female brindle boxer who blessed her family with love for the past 14 years. She has just made her journey to the Rainbow Bridge where she will continue to share her loving spirit. Take care Lacey.

Duece

In honor of Deuce.

"He was my first dog after having moved out on my own. He was also my first bullie..and because of him, I will always have one in my life.

We picked him up on January 1, 2003 when he was around 4 years old. We think he had been mildly abused by someone, as he had sores on his feet and tail and he was kind of jumpy at times. He had a stubborn streak about a mile wide!!, but that is part of the reason I love/loved him so much.

One of his favorite things to do was sit on our patio with me and watch as I cleaned our rabbit's cage. He would let our rabbit hop all around him and never make an aggressive move. He loved nothing more than sharing a bowl of Ramen noodles with me though!!

He touched parts of my heart that I didn't even know I had. I still think about him at least once a day and probably always will. He died in October, 2004 while recovering from soft palate surgery. I miss him so very much!"
